Our world is filled with images that are "photoshopped" or manipulated in some way shape or form. The term "photoshopped" has been coined from Adobe PhotoShop being the biggest photo editing software in both personal and professional fronts. Due to the increase of Web 2.0 tools and cloud computing, many free photo editing sites, similar to photoshop, have arisen.
Here are some of the
sites for you to look at:

www.tuxpi.com
www.splashup.com
www.fotoflexer.com
www.citrify.com
www.photovisi.com

The program Story Jumper (www.storyjumper.com) is used to make short stories for children. The process of making the book is very easy and straight forward. There aren't any significant drawbacks to this website. I would recommend this to a friend because it's simple, straight forward and there's many options for pictures to put on the page

ReplyDeleteThe program http://www.kerpoof.com/ is used for drawings and as a little kid games. To make a drawing you click on the make a picture thing. There are no drawbacks to me that i see from this website. I would recommend this website to little kids probably 8 and under or so.
ReplyDeleteTee photo editor programs on www.pixlr.com are used to edit photos. I liked how there are many options to change your picture. It's a user friendly website that makes the process of changing your picture easy. I don't see any drawbacks to this website. I would recommend it to a friend because its easy to use, has good styles to choose from and there are a lot of options but it isn't cluttered.

ReplyDeleteOn www.citrify.com, there's a photo editing program for pictures of people. On this program the tools were effective and didn't require choosing different shades for the skin color, the program automatically did it. Draw backs to this site was that it had limited options to edit the picture, although there were settings to each of these tools. I would recommend this to a friend only because it's easy to use and effective, the website isn't anything extraordinary.

ReplyDeleteThe website www.storyjumper.com is an easy to use website, seems both fun and interesting and has many options to create a storybook or do a project. I recommend this site to anyone in grades 1-8 .. I just dont think many high schoolers would be interested in this because its more for kids rather than adult and teens.
ReplyDeleteThe website www.pixlr.com is a very creative website where you can do almost anything from changing the color of your eyes to distorting your face and it also contains many filters. I recommend this website to everyone even photographers if they just want to change a filter. Its very easy and fun.
